Dr. Milan Modi is scholar in DNB Chest Medicine from renowned Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. He then worked at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Parel & underwent Fellowship in Interventional Bronchoscopy & Procedures. He had undergone training from stalwarts like Dr. Prabhudesai, Dr. Udwadia & Dr Mahasur during his training period at Mumbai.
He did Advance course in Sleep Medicine & Obstructive sleep Apnea under Dr. J C Suri, Delhi. Further he did Fellowship in Allergy & Immunotherapy from Vydehi Institute, Banglore under Dr. Pendukar.
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Graduate Degree in Medicine and Surgery SMIMER,SURAT VNSGU University, Gujarat, India 2001- 2007
He has dual field of Working as a Chest Physician with Special interest in Allergy, Asthma, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Covid & Other form of Pneumonia. Second field being Intensivist (icu specialist) he treat Critically ill Patients like Pneumonia, Poisoning, Heart Failure, Complicated Malaria /Dengue, Patients on Ventilator or Dialysis etc.

  • He worked in Lilavati Hospital for 3 years including 6 month training in icu under Dr. Ansari & Dr. Jiandani.
  • Under Dr. Prabhudesai, Dr. Sanjeev Mehta, Dr. Parkar & Dr. Chhajed he worked for refinement of his Chest Medicine.
  • Worked at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for 6 months.
  • Worked at Mahavir Heart Hospital for 2 years & learnt Cardiac Pacing,Intra Aortic Ballon Pumping & assisted many Complex procedures & patients in icu care.
  • Worked at Mahavir Trauma Hospital for 1.5 years solely in icu & emergency care medicine.
  • Worked at Sardar Patel Hospital, Ankleshwar for 2 years as Head of icu & Emergency Department.
  • Worked at Shalby Hospital, Surat as Chief of Icu & Emergency services for 2 years.
  • Joined Metas Hospital, Surat as Cheif Intensivist & Pulmonologist.
  • Working as Director & Head of Critical Care Medicine & Pulmonology at Jiomax Multi-Superspeciality Hospital, Vesu, Surat.

Apart from his working in Various institutes, He has Chest & Allergy Clinic at Majura Gate circle, Surat. Where he has worked with dedication & commitment to established his OPD Practice as a Renowned Chest physician & Allergy specialist in Surat since 2014.
